Look for a Control Panel named Remote Access and open it (you can get to your Control Panels from the Apple Menu). If you can't find the Remote Access Control Panel or it doesn't look very similar to the picture below when you open it, e-mail us and let us know.
Open your TCP/IP Control Panel. Change the Control Panel to look like this:
Close the window and save the configuration when prompted.
Open your Remote Access Control Panel. Change the Control Panel to look like this:
Click the Options Button. Click on the Protocol tab. Change the settings to look like this:
Click OK. You should be back at the Remote Access Control Panel.
Enter your Empowering username in the name field and password in the password field. Click the Connect button. Once the connection is complete, you should be able to use your Internet software. When you close the Remote Access Control Panel, you will be prompted to save the configuration. Do so.
